Tiger bites 11 y.o boy's hand after his father let him climb over safety barrier in Brazilian Zoo

A boy's hand was ripped off by a tiger after he climbed into a restricted area and stroked the animal through its cage.

Witnesses say the 11-year-old cried 'I'm going to die, I can't feel my arm' after he was mauled while reportedly trying to pass meat through the bars.

The victim's three-year-old brother is believed to have witnessed the attack at the zoo in Cascavel, Brazil.

Video shows the victim being lifted back over the security barrier which his father had allowed him to clamber over despite warning signs.

Music teacher Ricardo Espindola, who helped the boy's father while they waited for the ambulance, said: 'He was giving the tiger pieces of food, meat and stroking it.

I went down and saw the father running with the boy with his arm hanging. I called the ambulance.

'He was in shock, talking nonsense, talking that he was going to die.'

The boy was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital, where it is understood doctors partially amputated his arm.

According to zookeepers, the tiger, called Hu, is 'one of the sweetest' at the zoo.

TRANSLATED :  11 year old boy was attacked by a tiger on the afternoon of Wednesday (30), in Cascavel Zoo.

He walked with his father and a brother 3 years old when the attack occurred. Responders and the doctor gave first SIATE care the child was rushed to University Hospital (HUOP).
He had a tear (torn nerves) Full right arm, and had to be intubated still in place

A family of Santa Catarina also visited the space, and according to them, the child was in a forbidden area (between the guardrail and the grid cages) and gave food for the tiger and also the lion, as well as caress them.

They filmed as they found absurd the situation. In pictures boy takes food from his pocket and gives the animal. His arm goes completely through the bars. At other times it runs from one side to the other.

Tiger feels uncomfortable. 's family decides to leave, they were also with children, and did not agree with the attitude. Soon after they heard the screams and returned. The music teacher was Ricardo Espindola who helped his father to take the boy near the cage. they lay the boy on the floor and waiting for medical help.

According to reports, every time the child cries begging by the arm, because no longer felt it. "He was giving pieces of food, meat and stroking, stirring in paw, we finished seeing the animals, we went home, heard the screams, I say, gave problem.

Went down and saw the desperate father running with the boy with the hanging arm, I helped get him near the grill and call the ambulance, "reported Richard. "He was talking, but he was in shock, already talking nonsense, talking was going to die." Bride of Ricardo, Fernanda Aparecida Matias, said he thought his father worked at the zoo so the child intimacy with animals . "He said that the boy liked the same critter."

She continues, "the father was standing and the boy always with the arm into the screen, trying to treat, taking drumstick from his pocket, we thought" should work here, "but we looked while we were appalled because he moved the animal and the animal did not, was angry.

Wonder we talked though, because the father did nothing and so we left we heard the screams and came back and my boyfriend helped get him with his arm like that. " According biologist with the Zoo, Vanilce Oliveira, the tiger that attacked the boy called Hu, is 3 years old incomplete and is one of the sweetest cats in the park.

He weighs about 230 pounds and is used to the visitation, but it is believed that the manner in which exposure was generated stress to the animal than just attacking the boy in a way to amaze you.

Another issue raised by the biologist is that the animal was treated well, why not attacked by hunger. He was placed in a management area and will be observed. "We try to keep more guards in this area, they round the enclosure of the monkeys were doing and this time his father took advantage of the absence of the guard to do this act.

Lets check with the supervising what really happened and if it is a wrong attitude guard, we will take appropriate action, "said Lauri Dallagnol. Near the lions enclosure there is a guardhouse, where according to the head of the Asset Guard, is one of the guards, who at the time was in the grounds of the monkeys. He reports that will examine whether there was a server failure.

Luckiest Escape from 14000 Ton Coal Train : Women diving UNDER an oncoming train on railroad bridge

Two Indiana women are lucky to be alive after they were run over by a 14,000-ton coal train when they found themselves trapped on a railroad bridge.

Incredible video footage from and Indiana Railroad locomotive shows the women laying down in the middle of the tracks. The train, which has a mere ten inches of clearance above the railroad ties, miraculously passed harmlessly over top of them.

After the train finally stopped, both women stood up and ran away. One of the women shouted at the engineer that she had a stubbed toe, Indiana Railroad spokesman Eric Powell told MailOnline.

The women had been walking along Shuffle Creek Trestle Bridge, a narrow railroad bridge 80 feet above a creek bed outside Bloomington, Indiana, at 6.30 am on July 10.

Mr Powell said the train, which was carrying 100 coal cars, was traveling about 24mph traveling downhill when it rounded a corner. The engineer immediately put on the emergency brakes when he saw the women on the tracks.

'When you have a train going 24mph - and this train weighed some 14,000 tons - its going to take that train at least a half mile to stop,' he said.

'So the train gradually caught up to them. They didn't have anywhere to go.'

The women tried to scramble to safety at the end of the bridge, but one of them tripped. The video shows her friend going over to help her - just as the train overtakes the both of them.

The shocked engineer got out of the train after it came to a stop, expecting to find the remains of the two dead women. Instead, he saw them both running away. When he shouted and asked them if they were alright, one said she had stubbed her toe.

'We would estimate that there's about 10 inches of space between the ties and most locomotives. If they had been obese, they would have died. I would it would have ended very differently.'

The train company is furious with the two women for sneaking onto the trestle - which is private railroad property - in the first place.

A railroad employee happened to catch the license plate on the car when the women fled the scene. The company has turned the information over to the prosecutor's office and asked that the two be charged with trespassing.

Siberia Giant Hole Mystery : Two more NEW holes discovered in Russia's icy wilderness

New unexplained holes have appeared in Siberia following the mystery over a giant crater on the Yamal Peninsula.

A second is in the same permafrost region of northern Russia, and a third on the Taymyr Peninsula, to the east, in Kransoyark region. Both were spotted by reindeer herders who almost fell in.

The original hole received worldwide attention after being identified by helicopter pilots some 20 miles (32km) from a huge gas extraction plant at Bovanenkov.

Now the new holes - smaller in diameter but similar in shape - are posing a fresh challenge for Russian scientists.

'Theories range from meteorites, stray missiles, a man-made prank, and aliens, to an explosive cocktail of methane or shale gas suddenly exploding,' reported The Siberian Times.

'The version about melting permafrost due to climate change, causing a release of methane gas, which then forces an eruption is the current favourite, though scientists are reluctant to offer a firm conclusion without more study.'

The new Yamal crater is in the area's Taz district near the village of Antipayuta and has a diameter of about 49ft (15 metres).

A deputy of the regional parliament - or duma - Mikhail Lapsui said: 'I flew by helicopter to inspect this funnel' which he said was formed last year though only now have reports of it reached the outside world.

'There is ground outside, as if it was thrown as a result of an underground explosion.

'According to local residents, the hole formed on 27 September 2013.

'Observers give several versions. According to the first, initially at the place was smoking, and then there was a bright flash. In the second version, a celestial body fell there.'

The chief scientist of the Earth Cryosphere Institute, Marina Leibman, told URA.RU website in Sibera: 'I have heard about the second funnel on Yamal, in Taz district, and saw the pictures.

'Undoubtedly, we need to study all such formations. It is necessary to be able to predict their occurrence.

'Each new funnel provides additional information for scientists.'

The third crater and hole is in the Taymyr Peninsula and was accidentally discovered by reindeer herders who almost fell into it, in the vicinity of the remote outpost of Nosok.

The funnel is a perfectly formed cone, say locals who are mystified over its formation.

Its depth is estimated at between 200 to 330ft (60 to 100 metres) and its diameter - more than 13ft (four metres).

Experts - geologists, ecologists, and historians - have not come to a consensus about the origin of the funnel, say reports in the region.

'It is not like this is the work of men, but also doesn't look like natural formation,' said one account expressing puzzlement at its creation.

Scientists in Krasnoyarsk region - the second largest in Russia - plan further study of this hole.

The first hole is around 230ft (70 metres) deep and when a group of experts visited it earlier this month, they noted an icy at its bottom.

Their footage highlights a darkening around the rim which was earlier seen as evidence of heat possibly from an explosion during the crater's creation.

'They found the crater - around up to 300ft (70 metres) deep - has an icy lake at its bottom, and water is cascading down its eroding permafrost walls,' said The Siberian Times.

It is not as wide as aerial estimates which earlier suggested between 164ft and 328ft (50 and 100 metres).

Andrey Plekhanov, senior researcher at the Russian Scientific Centre of Arctic Research, revealed that satellite mapping imagery is being used to establish when the phenomenon was formed, thought to be in the last year or two.

'The crater has more of an oval than a circular shape, it makes it harder to calculate the exact diameter,' he said.

'As of now our estimates is about 98ft (30 metres). If we try to measure diameter together with soil emission, the so-called parapet, then the diameter is up to 197ft (60 metres).

The structure is so fragile that the scientists could not climb deep into the lake and had to send a camera down instead.

One theory is that the feature is a pingo, reports the Sunday Morning Herald.

A pingo is a large chunk of ice that is located underground that can create a hole in the ground when it melts.

Certainly from the images Ive seen it looks like a periglacial feature, perhaps a collapsed pingo, Dr Chris Fogwill of the University of New South Wales said.

This is obviously a very extreme version of that, and if theres been any interaction with the gas in the area, that is a question that could only be answered by going there.

Dr Plekhanov added the hole was most likely the result of a 'build-up of excessive pressure' underground, due to the region's changing temperatures.

He said 80 per cent of the crater appeared to be made up of ice and that there were no traces of an explosion.

The discovery eliminates the possibility that a meteorite had struck the region.

'Could it be linked to the global warming? Well, we have to continue our research to answer this question,' said Dr Plekhanov.

'Two previous summers - years 2012 and 2013 were relatively hot for Yamal, perhaps this has somehow influenced the formation of the crater.

'But we have to do our tests and research first and then say it more definitively.'

After the hole was discovered, there was speculation online about the crater indicating 'the arrival of a UFO craft'.

Ruling out extra-terrestrial intervention, Dr Plekhanov said: 'We can say for sure that under the influence of internal processes there was an ejection in the permafrost.

'I want to stress that was not an explosion, but an ejection, so there was no heat released as it happened.'

The latest expedition organised by the Yamal authorities included experts from Russia's Centre for the Study of the Arctic, and also the Cryosphere Institute of the Academy of Sciences.

They took samples of soil, air and water from the scene and were accompanied by a specialist from Russia's Emergencies Ministry.

Anna Kurchatova from the Sub-Arctic Scientific Research Centre, previously said the crater was formed by a mixture of water, salt and gas igniting an underground explosion, a result of global warming.

Gas accumulated in ice could have mixed with sand beneath the surface, and then mixed with salt.

Global warming may have caused an 'alarming' melt in the under-soil ice, released gas and causing an effect like the popping of a Champagne bottle cork, Ms Kurchatova suggests.

Yamal, a large peninsula jutting into Arctic waters, is Russia's main production area for gas supplied to Europe.

Dr Plekhanov said: 'I've never seen anything like this, even though I have been to Yamal many times.'

The crater is different from others on Yamal. The experts say the phenomenon maybe a restarting of a process not seen for 8,000 years when the lake-pocked Yamal landscape was formed on what was once a sea.

This maybe 'repeating nowadays', he said. 'If this theory is confirmed, we can say that we have witnessed a unique natural process that formed the unusual landscape of Yamal peninsula.'

Indian teen Ashik Gavai has 232 Teeth Removed in 7 hours World Record' Surgery

Surgeons have removed 232 teeth from the mouth of an Indian teenager.

Ashik Gavai was admitted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai last week with swelling in his lower jaw.

The 17-year-old was suffering from a condition known as complex odontoma or benign tumour of the tooth, head of dentistry Sunanda Dhivare-Palwankar said.

We operated on Monday and it took us almost seven hours. We thought it may be a simple surgery but once we opened it there were multiple pearl-like teeth inside the jaw bone, she said in comments reported by the Guardian.

As well as the 232 teeth there was another hard, rock-like formation which she could not remove with a dentists drill.

She told the India Times: We had to resort to the age-old, now outdated chisel-mallet procedure to break down that formation as it was putting immense pressures on the jaw bone and surrounding healthy teeth.

She said neither her nor her team and seen or heard about anything comparable and added: We believe this to be a world record but we will carry out more research before taking any further steps in the matter.

She says the previous number of teeth extracted from a similar tumour was 25.

Gavai now has a normal set of 28 teeth and tooth caps will be inserted to replace the removed teeth once he has recovered.

Dr Vandana Thorawade told the Mumbai Mirror medics had been worried the tumour would break the teenagers jaw.

He said: We had the jaw plates and screws ready in case of emergency, but miraculously his jaw was intact. Had he waited for longer, there were chances that his jaw bone would have been damaged.

He added: Thought we tried out best to removed every bit of tooth, there may have been some residual left. In that case there are chances of those growing back. We have told the family that regular check-ups and investigations are a must.

Pope Francis meet with FREE mother Meriam Ibrahim who put on death row for marrying a Christian

Pope Francis has met privately with a Sudanese mother in Rome who was put on death row for refusing to become a Muslim.

The Vatican said Pope Francis had 'a very affectionate' meeting with Meriam Ibrahim, 27, her husband and their two small children.

Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi said the pope 'thanked her for her faith and courage, and she thanked him for his prayer and solidarity' during the half-hour meeting.

He blessed Ms Ibrahim as she held her baby daughter Maya in her arms whom she gave birth to in prison two months ago.

Ms Ibrahim, and her family touched down at Rome's Ciampino airport at around 9.30am on a plane provided by the Italian government.

She was greeted at the airport by Italy's Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, his wife Agnese and Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini.

The mother-of-two was accompanied on the flight by Italys Deputy Foreign Minister Lapo Pistelli, who met with Meriam on July 3 and has been following the case closely.

He told journalists he had been in 'constant dialogue' with Sudan but did not give any more details on Rome's role in securing her exit.

Mr Pistelli published a photograph on his Facebook page of himself with Ibrahim and her two children on the plane with the caption: 'A couple of minutes away from Rome. Mission accomplished.'

He also told reporters at the airport that the family was in good health and would stay in Italy for a few days before departing for the U.S.

The minister, who carried one of Ibrahim's young children off the plane, said he expected her to have 'some important meetings' during her time in Italy.

Meriam's stay in Italy was organised by the Italian government in collaboration with the Sudanese government.

Meriams case drew worldwide attention in May when she was sentenced to death over charges of apostasy. A daughter of a Muslim father, Meriam was raised by her Christian mother.

She married her husband Daniel Wani, who holds American citizenship and is also a citizen of South Sudan, in a church ceremony in 2011.

As in many Muslim nations, Muslim women in Sudan are prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, though Muslim men can marry outside their faith. By law, children must follow their father's religion.

Sudan's penal code forbids Muslims from converting to other religions, a crime punishable by death.

The court in the capital, Khartoum, had also ordered Ibrahim be given 100 lashes for having sexual relations with her husband.

When Meriam asserted that she was in fact Christian she was then accused of apostasy. Following the conviction Meriam was then forced to give birth to her daughter Maya in prison.

Although she was freed, she was initially prevented from leaving the country.

Since June 26 she has been staying at the American embassy in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, according to Corriere della Sera.

Meriam's case attracted international attention and the governments of the UK, the US and the United Nations all called for her to be freed.

Bill and Hillary Clinton were also among those demanding she be released after MailOnline highlighted her plight, as was human rights campaigner Mia Farrow.

Italys Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, who mentioned Ibrahim during his speech inaugurating Italys six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union, has also expressed his outrage.

'If there is no European reaction we are not worthy of calling ourselves Europe,' Renzi said.

Meriam's arrival in the Italian capital follows a European Parliament resolution condemning her 'degrading and inhumane treatment' and calling for legal reforms in Sudan.

Olivia Warham, director of campaign group Waging Peace, said: 'As we celebrate Meriam Ibrahim's long-overdue freedom we should also remember the millions of her fellow Sudanese Christians who daily face brutality and ethnic cleansing by the Sudanese regime.

'Three years ago President Bashir made it plain there would be no room for non-Muslims in his Islamist Sudan.

'He has been good to his word, crushing dissent and systematically killing ethnic and religious minorities.

'Regular aerial bombardment by the Sudanese armed forces destroys communities and Christian hospitals, forcing people to flee from their fields to hide in the Nuba mountains.

'It is shocking that Bashir's ideology of elimination provokes nothing more than the occasional words of regret from the international community, when we should be applying targeted smart sanctions on the architects of these atrocities.'

Balinese authorities killing of "illegal" puppies as smiling female official takes PHOTOS

It's a long way from the sunny beach-loving holiday destination that Balinese tour operators like to project to the thousands of Australians who descend on the island every year.

A 16-minute video was uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday showing various breeds of dogs held to the ground and given a lethal injection by Balinese officers.

The footage shows how dogs 'illegally smuggled' into the country are given a lethal injection before being thrown onto a pile.

This is part of a 'legally endorsed program' by the Governor of Bali and the Bali Agricultural Quarantine to tackle the risk of a rabies plague from the increasing number of stray and smuggled dogs. And in one shot, a female official can be seen smiling and taking photos of an animal just before it is put to its death.

The footage, which shows how innocent pedigree dogs are first held in cages and forced to watch in fear as they await their horrific fate, has been condemned by animal activism group PETA, describing the scene as 'slaughter'.

The YouTube user who uploaded the video says the dogs are killed with an intracardiac injection, also known as a heart stick. This procedure involves sticking a needle into the animals' hearts.

'In Bali frightened smuggled dogs for the black market are held in cages and forced to watch others killed by lethal injection,' he wrote in the video description.

Bali, one of Australia's top holiday destinations, has more than 900,000 Australian visitors each year.

The Bali Times reported that in April about 31 expensive breeds, including a Siberian husky, a Pomeranian and a Lacy, were euthanised. They are worth hundreds of millions of rupiah, equivalent to thousands of Australian dollars. They were smuggled on a bus traveling from Java to Bali.

It was also reported that dogs were captured by authorities when no one claimed ownership after 24 hours.

'The sadistic scene involving innocent dogs whose only crime is being homeless and suspected to have "rabies".

'There is no compassion from the killers.

'Thrown into a pile the killers can be heard talking and laughing with no regard to the pain and suffering going on around them. Loving dogs treated as garbage instead of faithful companions who only wanted to be loved.'

The Jakarta Post reported that mass vaccinations have also been held, targeting more than 300,000 dogs each time.

Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika was quoted saying that any stray dogs should be killed immediately as part of the 2009 rabies prevention bylaw. This was created to prevent people from being bitten by stray rabid dogs.

'If any stray dogs are found, feel free to eliminate them,' Mr Pastika said last month. 'It has been stipulated in the bylaw that dog owners have to confine their pets at home.'

A PETA Australia spokeswoman says they've previously worked with the Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA) and the Indonesian government to end the mass culling of dogs.

'PETA strongly condemns the slaughter seen in this video. Dogs are clearly terrified and stressed, no attempt is made to administer lethal injection via IV methods (the only humane form of euthanasia) and there is no reason why these dogs cannot be vaccinated rather than slaughtered.'

'Since 2010, a successful vaccination program and the number of humans becoming infected with rabies has fallen dramatically,' the spokeswoman said.

'It is unclear why the Balinese Governor has decided to revert to a policy of killing all stray dogs in the face of an extremely successful anti-rabies vaccination program and against all specialist advice.

A petition on Change.org is urging Mr Pastika to shut down his elimination programs and suggests more humane ways of controlling increasing numbers.

Mexican police caught killing ENDANGERED animals with police pistol and forced to quit

A Mexican police officer who went on a brutal endangered wildlife hunting spree using a gun provided by his employer has been forced to resign.

Sickening images of Wilfer Geovany Contreras Rosado, 38, posing in his police uniform with the bloodied corpses of rare deer, falcons and crocodiles went viral after being posted online last week.

Rosado, who lives and works in the southern Mexican state of Campeche, had reportedly boasted to friends about the number of endangered animals he had slaughtered during his hunting trip.

Rosado was forced to resign from the Campeche police force after images of his hunting trip were posted on Facebook.

Police chiefs claim that as he no longer works as a police officer, the matter has been dealt with.

However critics including environmental activists say that the police force has to take responsibility for the fact that he used his police weapon and ammunition to kill the animals.

The images that were shared online showed a dead white tailed deer, several Morelet's crocodiles and a bird of prey.

All of the animals Rosado is believed to have killed are not allowed to be hunted under Mexican law.

The Mexican Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (Profepa) has confirmed that an investigation is undergoing on charges of violating the Federal Law on Environmental Protectio.

It said the case was being built solely around the images posted on social media, all of which have now been deleted from the original source.

Victor Perez Aguilar, the deputy director of the state police in the area where the officer worked, said that the fact Rosado had resigned meant that they would not be investigating the matter themselves.

'He resigned voluntary from the police force, but this does not mean the officer does not escape responsibility and he will have to face the consequences of the investigation by the environmental protection office,' he said.

The Profeoa investigation is likely to continue for several days before any formal charges are made.

Dash Cam Chinese man lies down in road to try to con driver but is KNOCKED DOWN by her for real

A man's plan to extract money from a female driver by pretending she had hit him with her car backfired spectacularly when the woman in question actually did run him over.

The bizarre incident took place in Fuzhou, capital of southern China's Fujian province, and was captured by the dash cam of a nearby car.

At the beginning of the clip, the man is seen walking towards a car, appearing to be trying to flag it down.

The car, which is travelling at walking speed, comes to a halt and the man dramatically falls over in front of it.

He doesnt appear to make any contact with the car.

It is unknown if the woman driving the car failed to see him or simply became flustered when she was beeped from behind, but she suddenly steps on the accelerator and runs the man over for real.

Hearing his screams she stops the car, which is still pinning the man to the ground, and gets out.

How the scenario ends and the fates of the driver and the would-be con artist are unknown.

The video follows news of a brand new car that destroyed a house after being driven into it by accident.

The house belonged to the parents of the female driver, who just wanted to show the car off to them.

Ye Chia, 29, arrived at the property in Gaoli village in the city of Wenzhou in east Chinas Zhejiang province, with her husband and two daughters, and attempted to park her shiny new white car at the front.

But she accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake and demolished not just her car, but part of her parents' house as well.

Heavier than Gorilla : 208lbs Giant Skate is biggest fish ever CAUGHT on Britain's shores

An angler has broken the record for the biggest fish ever caught off British shores - and it weighs more than a gorilla.

The common skate fish, which was caught off the Isle of Skye, was so big that fisherman Daniel Bennett spent two hours struggling to reel it in.

When he finally got back to shore, the 26-year-old from Whitby, North Yorkshire, discovered his catch weighed 208lbs - more than a female Eastern Lowland gorilla, a heavyweight boxer or a moped.

Mr Bennett, who threw the fish back into the sea, said: 'The key to catching the fish was having a lot of patience. My back is absolutely killing me now though.

'Weve never caught anything on that scale before, and we guessed it weighed about 150lb. But it was 208lbs. I cant believe it.'

The catch, which was 88.25 inches long by 66.75 inches wide, has now been confirmed by the British Record Fish Committee as the largest fish caught on its current list.

Mr Bennett, who works in a fishing supplies shop, said: 'My partner is not really that interested, but shes proud of me nonetheless.

'I think people outside the angling world find it harder to see how much of a feat this is.

'West Scotland is known for skate fishing but not Skye. We were the first to catch one there for at least 30 or 40 years.

'There was another chap in our group who caught one and it was about 120lb. We thought wed never find one any bigger - then we did an hour later.'

Nick Simmonds, secretary of the British Record Fish Committee, said: 'There is not a larger fish recorded as being caught on our current record list.

'Once we receive pictures from Dan we will pass them on to our scientist who will check the images and hopefully confirm the unofficial record.

'It cant be confirmed as a record as it was not weighed at the scene.

'It will be seriously considered for the Notable Fish List, which was created for situations like this where the fish cannot be weighed. This list is historically important, at least in the angling world.'

Cleveland Police body cam : Hero officer bringing 'drowned' toddler back to LIFE

A lifeless toddler who was feared drowned is revived amid joyous scenes captured on a police officer's body-cam.

The dramatic footage shows the frantic efforts of officer Ismael Quintana to save the life of an unconscious toddler named Drances, who had fallen into a swimming pool.

Quintana relentlessly performs chest compressions on the stricken child during the incident in Cleveland, Ohio.

The boy's aunt, Cynthia Connor, can be seen performing mouth to mouth on the tot during the clip.

"Come on papi, breathe", one bystander says as the officer is heard urging the child to "breathe".

To everyone's huge relief, the boy gurgles and begins to gasp for air as the clip ends.

"He's breathing, he's breathing," a relieved voice declares.

Mrs Connor told WJW-TV: "He was purple, he was lifeless. When they picked him up, he had nothing. He was like shaking, his lips were shaking."

"It's something I'm never gonna ever forget. Like, sometimes I wake up just thinking about it."

Little Drances spent two days in hospital recovering and now owes a debt of gratitude to the prompt actions of his rescuer.

"911 Send an Ambulance" : U.S father beats man found abusing his son in Florida

A father who walked in on a man allegedly sexually assaulting his 11-year-old son beat the man to a pulp before calling police to say they could come collect him from a 'bloody puddle' on his floor.

The 35-year-old man, who has not been identified, told a 911 dispatcher in the early hours of Friday: 'I just walked in on a grown man molesting [name redacted]. And I got him in a bloody puddle for you right now, officer.'

Police arrived at the Daytona Beach home in Florida to find Raymond Frolander, 18, unconscious.

A subsequent mugshot showed that Frolander had been badly beaten around the face, leaving him with swollen lips and eyes, bruising and lacerations.

When the 911 responder asked the father if any weapons were involved, he said: 'My foot and my fist'.

'He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you, I dragged him into the living room,' the father said. 'Send an ambulance. He is going to need one.'

The dispatcher asked: 'Is he still unconscious?' to which the father responds: 'Yes... I hit hard, sir.'

He said that Frolander was a 'damn lucky boy that I love my God'.

The father added: 'He stood up and his pants were around his ankles and nothing else needed to be said. I did whatever I got a right to do except I didnt kill him.'

The father had left his home around 1am to pick up some food and when he returned, heard a strange noise coming from the bedroom, police said.

He pushed open the door and allegedly found Frolander with his pants down abusing act on the child.

The boy told investigators he had been playing video games with friends but when they left, Frolander took him to a back room and pulled down his pants. He also said Frolander had been abusing him for three years.

Daytona Beach police chief Michael Chitwood told MailOnline today that Frolander had a close family connection to the alleged victim.

The chief said the young boy was intimidated and told by Frolander that terrible things would happen if he revealed the abuse.

Chief Chitwood said: 'He's 11 years old, he should be running around outside and playing video games, not dealing with something like this.'

He earlier told the Daytona Beach News-Journal that the father was 'just acting like a dad'.

The father was not charged in the suspects beating, police spokesman Jimmie Flynt said.

Frolander was taken to Halifax Heath Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries.

The arrest affidavit said that Frolander admitted the abuse.

The teen was charged with sexual battery on a child under 12 and is being held without bail. It was not known whether he's hired a lawyer.

CCTV shows Lawyer SLAPPED judge with Fly Swatter...now faces 10 years in prison

A lawyer from Kazakhstan could be jailed for up to 10 years after slapping a judge with a fly swatter because he was unhappy with the way a case was proceeding.

Evgeniy Tankov, 35, from Karaganda, was looking after an inheritance case on behalf of a client when he lost his temper.

CCTV footage shows Mr. Tankov approach the judge before saying: 'Let's not hang about arguing the law here, let's decide this with fly swatters.'

He then uses a fly swatter to slap the judge who patiently ignores him as he's struck three times.

Opposing lawyer, Artem Ibragilov, however, wasn't quite as understanding.

The 39-year-old is seen in the footage punching Mr. Tankov, who has glasses and a ponytail.

Moments later the judge gets up from behind his desk and wrestles with Mr. Tankov.

He is seen pulling the fly swatter out of the lawyer's hand and throwing it to the floor, causing his desk to topple over.

Court officials said Mr. Tankov had been barred from pracising law and has been charged with assault which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years.

CCTV shows Search and rescue Helicopter CRASHES in middle of built-up residential area killing all crew

This is the heart-stopping moment a search and rescue helicopter carrying five firefighters crashed into a block of flats in South Korea.

The chopper was returning to its headquarters in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, after a search mission for 11 people still missing from the April 16 sinking of the ferry Sewol off the southwestern coast.

But it got into trouble as it flew over Gwangju yesterday, in the southeast of the country, and plummeted to earth, slamming into a residential area in a ball of flame.

Tragically, none of its five occupants survived.

Witnesses reported seeing the aircraft catch fire mid air before nosediving into an uncrowded street near a huge apartment complex in the city's housing area of Gwangsan-gu around 10:50 a.m.

'A plume of black smoke rose with a loud bang,' said one. 'I thought it was thunder and lightning.'

Miraculously, there were no reports of any casualties on the ground apart from a female high-school student who sustained minor injuries after being hit by a piece of debris.

Flight MH17 with 298 Innocent Souls: Putin blames Ukraine for missile strike & Rebel leader audio: We Just Shot Down Plane

A Malaysian Airlines passenger plane has been shot down on the Russian-Ukraine border in an 'act of terrorism', killing all 298 people on board including around 100 children.

The Boeing 777 aircraft exploded into flames at 33,000ft as it was hit by a sophisticated surface-to-air missile over territory near Donetsk held by pro-Russian rebels who the Ukrainian government says are backed by the Kremlin.

Dutch authorities have said that at least six Britons, 154 Dutch and 27 Australians were on board the doomed plane, and it is feared that up to 23 Americans and four French passengers had been killed.

American officials confirmed the plane was hit by a single missile while at cruising speed.

The Ukrainian authorities laid the blame for the attack on the rebels by denying any responsibility for the missile launch, with President Petro Poroshenko called the downing an act of terrorism as he called for an international investigation into the crash.

As pictures of bodies and debris emerged, the tragedy sparked a full-blown international crisis last night, increasing tension between Moscow and Washington. While Ukraine and Russia blamed each other, US senator John McCain vowed there would be hell to pay if it was confirmed that the surface-to-air missile had been fired by the rebels or their Russian backers, while Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed Ukraine for the tragedy.

Airlines were advised to cease flights over the region and faced questions as to why commercial jets had been flying over what is effectively a war zone.
Last night there was speculation that the doomed Flight MH17 had taken a short-cut across the disputed region of eastern Ukraine to save fuel.

As relatives gathered at airports for news of missing loved ones, it emerged that airlines had twice been warned about the risk of flying over an area where two Ukrainian military aircraft had already been shot down this week.

But many carriers continued to use the route because it was shorter and therefore cheaper.

Flight MH17 had taken off from Amsterdam at lunchtime and was flying at around 33,000ft on one of the main routes from Europe to Asia when it was struck by the missile. It came down near a poultry farm in the village of Grabovo, an area controlled by pro-Russian rebels about 30 miles from the Ukraine-Russia border.

Witnesses claimed to have seen bodies falling out of the stricken plane over the village of Rassypnaya. Some residents feared they were being bombed.

Aleks Noit, whose relatives live nearby, said more than a dozen corpses, some naked, were strewn around the village.

Wreckage and bodies fell on the private houses in the village and near the hospital. People in uniform collected the corpses, he said.

Others described an entire field covered in debris from the plane and body parts scattered across an area up to nine miles in diameter, suggesting the plane broke up in mid-air.

An emergency services rescue worker said at least 100 bodies had so far been found at the scene, lying alongside broken pieces of the wings marked with the red and blue paint used on the airline's fleet.

Ukrainian authorities released what it said was a recording of a phone conversation between separatists and President Putins intelligence services. In it, a rebel nicknamed Major says the Malaysian Airlines jet was shot down by Cossacks from the Chernukhino roadblock adding: It is definitely a civilian plane... there was a lot of people on board.

Rebel commander Igor Strelkov bragged on Twitter, We warned you do not fly in our sky but deleted the tweet when the full horror of the disaster became clear.

Putin has laid the blame for the crash on Ukraine.

A Kremlin statement said Mr Putin opened a meeting with his economic advisers by calling for a moment of silence over the crash.

Then, he said, 'This tragedy would not have happened if there were peace on this land, if the military actions had not been renewed in south-east Ukraine. And, certainly, the state over whose territory this occurred bears responsibility for this awful tragedy.'

Ukrainian President Poroshenko issued a robust denial that his forces were involved in shooting down the plane, saying: 'We do not exclude that this plane was shot down, and we stress that the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not take action against any airborne targets.'

'We are sure that those who are guilty in this tragedy will be held responsible,' he added.

A spokesman for the rebels said that the plane must have been shot down by Ukrainian government troops.

Don't chew more than you could! Sea lion STUCK in the great white shark's throat and kills in Australia

It's the case of the great white shark that bit off more than it could chew - choking to death on a huge sea lion it tried to swallow.

Extraordinary video shots and photographs show the feared monster thrashing about close to Coronation Beach, north of the West Australian town of Geraldton, as it apparently tried to dislodge its latest food.

When the 4m shark eventually died and was brought ashore Fisheries Department inspectors were amazed to find the sea lion stuck in its throat.

The WAtoday website reported today that research scientist Dr Rory McAuley found that while the male shark had no visible signs of injury or disease, the large sea lion was found stuck inside its throat.

'This could explain why the shark was exhibiting such unusual behaviour in shallow waters off Coronation Beach,' he said.

'It is possible that the shark was trying to dislodge the blockage.

'Such a large object may have damaged the shark's internal organs or impeded water flow into his gills, contributing to his death.'

Dr. McAuley said it was also possible that the shark might have become stranded in its attempts to rid itself of the obstruction.'

Ms. Tash Tapper, who shot footage of the shark while she was on the beach with her family, described the scene as 'surreal'.

She told of watching the shark swim in close to the shore, back out and back in for almost two hours.

'Too me, it seemed it was coming in to die,' she told WAtoday.

Methane explosion? Meteorite crater? UFO? Scientists baffled by gigantic 262ft hole appeared in Siberia

An urgent expedition will leaves tomorrow to probe a giant crater that has appeared in gas-rich northern Siberia.

Extraordinary aerial images show a mysterious hole which experts say may be up to 262 feet wide, in the Yamal Peninsula of northern Russia.

'A scientific team has been sent to investigate the hole and is due to arrive at the scene on Wednesday,' The Siberian Times has reported.

The cause of the hole's sudden appearance in Yamal - which translates as 'the end of the world' - in the far north of Siberia is not yet known.

There has been web speculation about the crater indicating 'the arrival of a UFO craft'.

But one Russian expert says the cause is more likely to be global warming releasing gases under the surface, which then explode like a champagne cork.

Experts say that the darkening around the inner rim of the crater indicates 'severe burning' which scorched its edges.

Another theory is that the hole was formed by a meteorite striking this lonely spot in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region, some 20 miles from the Bovanenkovo gas field.

'There is agreement that soil around the hole was thrown out of the crater, large enough for several Mi-8 helicopters to fly into it,' The Siberian Times reported - before adding 'not that they have.'

The expedition organised by the Yamal authorities includes experts from Russia's Centre for the Study of the Arctic, and also the Cryosphere Institute of the Academy of Sciences.

They plan to take samples of soil, air and water from the scene.

They will be accompanied by a specialist from Russia's Emergencies Ministry.

A spokesman for the ministry's Yamal branch has ruled out a meteorite, but says it is too early to say what caused the hole.

'We can definitely say that it is not a meteorite,' he says.

Anna Kurchatova from the Sub-Arctic Scientific Research Centre, thinks the crater was formed by a mixture of water, salt and gas igniting an underground explosion, a result of global warming.

Gas accumulated in ice could have mixed with sand beneath the surface, and then mixed with salt.

Some 10,000 years ago this area was a sea.
